Well, I can tell you Gunawan answer quick any questions and delivers FAST.
I put an order yesterday and it was cleared this morning at my country customs, is that fast or what?

Still waiting for local delivery on monday, then I will test pieces at iPhones.

I will post my results here.

BTW: HyperSim NEVER answer my questions.

    What shipping method?

Personally I find it insane that shipping via DHL is almost as expensive as the card itself. I also find it odd that while shipping from Atlanta via USPS doesn't actually cost more than $1.80 in postage (to sweden), unlockcellular (and pretty much anyone else) charge another $15 on top of this, making it $16.80 in total. Seriously, what kind of "handling" is done to make it cost as much as $15 more than the postage? It's just ridiculous.

I asked unlockcellular a bunch of questions regarding shipping and got the following reply:

no can not track first class.
the only one that can track is EMS or EXPRESS MAIL
that price is direct quote from post office, we do not make money on post office. their website is wrong, you can call them to confirm the price if you dont believe us.

if you really want post office, at least select global mail, still not trackable but a little faster

    Best Regards,
    Gunawan

They do reply very fast, seeing as how I emailed them just a couple of hours ago. I would order yesterday if I could just figure out the best shipping method. I'm not going to pay almost as much as the card itself just to be able to track the order. What shipping services have you guys used in the past when ordering these cards?

believe us, we dont mark up $15 on top of post office. the first class $1.80, we are checking with usps agent to see what service is that. One thing we do know, their service is bad and slow, especially the one without tracking. its like blackhole, you ship it and you wait... and wait... and wait.....

Our system connected directly to USPS, FEDEX and DHL . If you ship using FEDEX or DHL before you know they charge min fees for the first lbs/kg no matter how small if the package. then every subsequent increase is only $x.x per lb/kg. For example, if you order 1 ultrasim using fedex, the fee is probably $35 or so. but if you order 5, the fee is STILL the same at $35.

So majority of our customers pool their order together and order more than 1 to minimize the shipping cost. this is the best way to get around the shipping cost issue at the moment. We never have issue with shipping cost most of the time because MOST of our customers are resellers/businesman/distributor who buy many products from our company. they always buy in bulk.

We believe the most cost effective and safe shipping method for this unit is FEDEX. Make order and you can see all options before you buy.

we tested with many simcards and so far so good. the shape of the simcard is not that important, the most important is the ic module (the gold color) is line up with ultrasim contact. if they line properly and flush, it will works (well it works on all we tested so far)

One thing for sure, we have NOT tested all simcard in the world so there is still possibility it wont work. However, we have been in the unlocking business for a long time, we DO know that simcard slot is STANDARD so we are sure they all have same measurement interm of contact point.

Another possibility for not working is the simkit is defective it happens to us also so we just exchange it

The location of the ic is not finalize, we are testing to see which one is better, the corner or the middle....or both. but they all the same, just move the schematic line a little

    1. I've heard rumors of battery drain with certain cards, how will your product perform in this regard?
    2. Many users have exhibited issues where the reception disappears only to reappear again, or disappear until a reboot of the phone is performed. Is this a known issue with your product?
    3. Also, how snug does the sim fit when it's actually in place. Is there a possibility of the phone dropping calls simply because your product is able to move while installed in the phone, adhesive tape notwithstanding?
    3. Obviously care has to be taken when installing the card, but I've heard that products like this are extremely fragile, is this true? How will this product respond to normal wear and tear, removing the sim for use in another phone for instance?
    4. What would you consider the best and cheapest way of shipping (speed is appreciated, but useless if the goods don't arrive)?

    1. we have been using/testing ultrasim for almost 3 weeks now. we have not notice any power loss. its possible some small loss is happening but because its too small, we cant/have not detect it yet.

    2. no. but we do notice, that on some phone, it takes awhile for it get full strength. it will start with 4 bars and after few mins it will go to 5 bars. its too random to see any pattern and its happening only on some phones so we assume its the phone itself

    3. very snug and tight fit and we go even further by providing a VERY thin double sided tape to hold them together. we are the only company actually do this on our ultrasim kit. you can check around .

    3. yes this is true because we have to make it very thin, this apply to all flex/ribbon component. remember, we are a real company selling parts for cellphones. so we do sell a lot of ribbon/flex for cellphones to know that this ribbon is fragile and NOT designed to be moved many times. Just take a look at your cellphone, how many times you have to remove flex from it

    4. so far most of our customer choose FEDEX. usps is the last option.

To clarify, this last post from unlockcellular is actually an email I sent them. They do reply very fast which is appreciated.

Also, thanks for all the information and help, it really makes your business more credible.

    Hi,

I'm wondering if you have done the test on the UK phone yet?
I'm thinking about buying a UK phone and an ultrasim.

No problem. better ask now then later after you buy. This way we can be as clear as possible.

    @Fostar82
