[TurbosSIM] Differences between versions ?
Hello,
I'm kind of a simsolution newbie, so I'm a bit confused about this:
What is the difference between the original bladox turbosim's and the cheaper versions of turbosim?
I've heard that the cheap models work, so why should I buy a more expensive model?
I'm sure that this question have been asked before, but I tried to search and I couldn't find the answer....

- Oscar only the bladox turbosim is a turbosim; turbosim is a trademark of bladox. all other proxysims called turbosim are called turbosim because this is now the overall mostly used expression for this - sadly. this screws things up and makes people feel unsafe - just like you. if someone on ebay sells you a turbosim and it does not look like one, then that is because the seller is a scam, liar, or as unknowing as the one who buys is, but I believe most of the time he is not the latter.....

Thank you very much for the answer!
But if the "fake" turbosim is working, why not buy it?
Is the bladox more safe or?

e.g. the nextsim work pretty fine throughout the forum. every solution also comes with these or those issues...
anyway: the advantage of the bladox turbosim is that it is re-programmable. need new software or patches on it? just reset and start from scratch. most of the others are preprogrammed, cant be reprogrammed. yes, they are cheaper, and yes you have less trouble getting that thing too work, but from that point on you are limited. also they are more fragile than the one from bladox. some of them are thin as paper and so for can easily be broken when handled without care.

Yes sure thats the point maybe they are more easy friendly use but Bladox's Turbosim is re-programmable.You pay for one only .But china mades ? When Apple releases the new firmware they are rubbish because every firmware has a new baseband

please try not to get a China3GPP if you are using t mobile usa. i have used it and have had issues with SMS and the red dot voicemail problem.

That is right, but what is the price for the turbosim, you could get almost 4 of the cheap ones (around 30 usd). So i dont think it is that bad

Bought a 3GPP and a Bladox Turbosim before I received my iPhone.
3GPP worked two minutes then dead.
Bladox Turbosim... Had to program it, ok, but worked first shot and is still working.
Plus if something changes on future FWs and a *SIM can still fix it, a China3GPP or any other non programmable *SIM will be useless, while you can still update your Turbosim to the code that works.
It's a bit expensive, if you think you have to pay 160$ for a real TurboSim on Ebay, while it was maybe 60$ on their official website a while ago. But isn't it a "robbery" also to pay 40$ for a "non programmable clone" which is a mere piece of thin plastic and a chip worth less than 2$? You can check the price of the pic used online... Even if you think about the assembling you hardly get to the price people ask for one of these... 40$, 50$ or even 80$... Come on...
I'm happy with my Turbosim. Bought also a Stealthsim to test it, they promise good things for the future, let's see. One thing I know is that if I stumble on some more Turbosims, I'll buy them all.
