    Default TURBOSIM vs. Stealthsim

    Hi,

After reading almost as much as i can, have decided to go use one of the above sims. I am just not sure which one is better. Appreciate if someone can briefly clarify. Also, by using a turbosim/stealth will my warranty still be intact cuz i wouldnt have software unlocked it. I'm from Dubai...any idea if it might not work here..thans for ur help. much appreciated.

You still have to jailbreak your iphone in order to use either TurboSIM or stealth-SIM. In my opinion, stealth-SIM is easier because after you jailbreak it, you do not need to do any configuration like the one you did with Turbo-SIM.
In the other hand, with turbo-SIM, it's more flexible because you can actually program the turbo SIM.
If you're going to use it in Dubai, I'm not sure warranty is an issue because iPhone has not been released in Dubai yet, right? So, even if you have an apple store there, they won't help you. Just my opinion about the warranty.

Ive read that stealth sim is programmed to shadow at&t. Does that mean it might not work in Dubai? And out of curiosity what would the display show for the operatort
    thanks for your response.

Stealthsim much like Turbosim will work with all region of the iPhone.

With Turbosim, user needs to program it to work with the region they want to use in.

With StealthSim, it works with all region, US, Europe etc... without user doing any programming. StealthSim is little easier to get your iPhone working

But what about future usage? Will the Stealthsim be able to be re-programmed as easily as the Turbosim? Will it use the same programs and files?

What specifically is the difference between the Stealthsim and Turbosim (other than that one is pre-programmed and one is blank)?

I've used both turbosim and stealthsim and I my opinion:

    - Easiest to setup and use right away: STEALTH SIM
    - Least expensive: STEALTH SIM
    - Break more easily: TURBOSIM
    - New upgrades from apple ready: TURBOSIM
    - Best service overall from company (shipping, packaging, support): STEALTH SIM

If you plan on being up-to-date with all future upgrades, I would go for the TURBOSIM, since you can reprogram it easily (it has already been reprogrammed to fit new apple upgrades) If you plan on staying with the 1.1.2 I would go for the Stealth Sim. Just my 2 cents. In a few words:

-Plan to upgrade each time apple upgrades: TURBOSIM
-Plan to stay at 1.1.2 and see if in the future stealth can be reprogramed: STEALTH SIM

Other than that, both are exactly the same, in size and in functions (except you can program turbosim to use other memory and sim related functions (which really dont give you any extra value))

PM if you have any questions.

Or Option C that Apple does nothing to keep the Stealth from working for 1.14 or future updates.
Why would they change anything for that?
I am hopeful that stealth will continue to work also.
If apple wants to stop stealth they will put something also to prevent the TurboSim from working also..
    Or no?

Offering the service since 2004 at the same price for a highly configurable module : TURBOSIM

Offering the service since a few days at a high price for a non configurable module : STEALTH SIM

make your choice ... and think which company is closer to the community/hacker state of mind

I personally chose who had the Product ready to Ship..
The TurboSim card was all out of stock and I believe they still are out of Stock
Why would the StealthSim not work on the new updated Firmware?
