in my understanding, TurboSIM will work as long as the ICCID- and IMSI-check performed by the bb isn't changed so that it randomly tests the ICCID and IMSI. this could happen with a bb update in the future.

...but the baseband update can happen like a normal firmware update, or is it something like the bootloader, that will affect only new models?!? Sorry if it's dumb question, but I'm getting lost in all those information I found scattered around the web...

It can be pushed in a regular update and apply to all bootloader models. That's why you should be cautious when a new baseband firmware version is announced.

Ok, now I've understand, thanks a lot!

So basically we don't have any assurance that the TurboSIM method is 'upgrade safe' ... even if it's look like much more stable right now.

Thanks again... I think I will take time to decide till Bladox site will reopen the shop!

Do I need the original AT&T sim that came with the iphone, or can I cut my prepaid card I bought there this summer? (Cingular.)

So it's _only_ the bootloader that they can't update via iTunes? That makes 1.1.1 phones all the more valuable it seems...

Ok, sorry to bring this thread to life again, but I have another small doubt regarding TurboSIM.

If I happen to have two sim card I want to use with my iPhone, can i just program 1 turbosim card, and then i can replace the sim card i want to use? Or I'll need 2 turbosim as well?

I'm pretty puzzled, because I think it can be done on stealthsim (since it require no programming at all), but I'm not so sure about the turbosim.

Thanks in advance for all the replies...

Edited: Well i found out this topic, that I think answer my question ... http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=17560

Since it says that you only have to program the turbosim with at&t card data ... it must work with every sim i want after that.... sorry to have bother!

Is it possible to edit the applesaft source file in order to add some code to add a delivery report capability?(e.g. *N# or similar, depending on the carrier)

What would be the necessary lines in order to add a specified alphanumeric string to each and every outgoing sms? Are there any specific "include" commands necessary?

I think many users miss the delivery report notification in iphone and it would be great to use turbosim to enhance the capabilities of the device apart from unlocking it!

I think if you have to ask, you're probably not the right person to touch it...

What are these commands exactly doing?
    I.) turbo-rm-apps
    II.) turbo-reset
    III.) turbo-iphone-smsreset

Because i'm hanging at the steps where the modem is initiated.. nothing happens anymore so i want to reset everything what i have done but i don't want to create more problems i really don't want to damage the devices including the firmware.

    thank you
