TurboSIM: No incoming while roaming
I've got a TurboSIM hacked phone which works absolutely fine on Vodafone UK; incoming, outgoing, EDGE and SMS (in and out).
However, I am currently roaming in South Africa and am not able to receive calls; they just go straight through to voicemail. SMS (in and out), EDGE and outgoing calls are all still working fine... it's just incoming calls. And I have tried connecting to Vodacom and MTN; both with the same results.
Anyone got any ideas?
Geoff.

have you tried to manually select another network operator. some operators are having problems wherer there is no incoming. there seems to be an iphone bug
can you please post results and also let us know the network NAME that does not have incoming

As I said, there doesn't seem to be any incoming calls using both MTN and Vodacom (manually selected).

geoff: in case you get no incoming anywhere while roaming, it seems like for some reason the turbosim is transmitting the IMEI # of the original ATT card. your home provider was confused thinking you are roaming there but and let you through but there is no dice while roaming. turbosim is confirmed to work fine with roaming. Are you able to receive calls using any other phone than th eiphone.
heartman: i don't think that there is anything to do at this point. So far problems have been seen in Russia (MTS), Bulgaria (MTEL), Malasia (maxis) and one other country that i can't remember now.
someone said that if you see "my number" in the settings / phone then it should work but this is not the case as legit att phones do not work on the networs in question also
