    Default TurboSim install frustration

TS arrived yesterday morning (here in UK to get it working with T-mobile UK) and more than 24 hours later I still can't get a response from it. Apps have been copied over - no problem. I can run turbo-info but only get error messages (I want to do the ISA method).

My own (cut up) sim card works fine but when it is put together with the TS in the iPhone I just get NO SIM message (when I put CommCenter.plist back). I've tried the TS with the AT&T sim card and I still get NO SIM. I have done a full restore on the iPhone (twice) to firmware 1.0.2 but still the TS doesn't appear to be working. I'm at a loss as to what to do.

I have done a turbo-info -v and get two OK messages followed by a stream of error messages. I'm not sure whether this indicates my TS is OK but I just don't know what to do next.

    Any suggestions? PLEASE?!!

Had the same problem trying to do the ISA method.

Also had comments that some people hadn't been able to get ANY response from any Turbo-xxx commands without the AT&T Sim installed with TurboSim.

Applesaft method worked fine for me though....

Ah, but I have tried the TS with the AT&T card and it still doesn't respond. Also, it should not show up as NO SIM if the AT&T sim makes a difference, shouldn't it?

Hmmmm... NO SIM probably indicates a contact problem then - or (I'm sure this isn't what you need to hear) faulty Turbo Sim

I must admit I've just about concluded I've got a faulty TS. I wonder what Bladox are like on a replacement policy.

Guess it might depend if they have anything to replace it with!

How annoying - sorry to hear that - but I guess if you get the NO SIM message on both SIMs having replaced the plist that seems like the most likely explanation... bit of a bugger!

Not wanting to teach you to suck eggs, but I suppose, like I did, you've tried reseating the sims and making slight adjustments about a 100 times? And also, you could try using a small piece of paper to get an ever tighter connection?

Sorry, can't think of anything else to suggest...

Oh, yes. Multiple readjustments plus paper at different thickness until it would be impossible to push it in without breaking the TS. I'm pretty sure it's not a contact problem but a faulty TS.

Shouldnt be a problem with the TSIM. I got mine last thursday and was trying out with the ISA method as well but it just didnt work. And im working on a 1.0.2. During the steps when you type in the commands for turbo-info and turbo-app, you shouldnt see any errors. If you did i suggest you calm down, have a cuppa and restart all over.

Try going for the Applesaft method and make sure your phone is "Activated" instead of going through everything with a "Mismatched" ICCID.

When I use Tsim with my AT&T sim to set the ICCID on a nokia 6230i I get a ICCID starting with 9810 while the AT&T ICCID on iphone box starts with 8901??

Why is this? How can I solve it? Can anyone help please? Is it possible to enter the ICCID manual into the TurboSim Applsaft ?
