[TurboSIM] Chinese clone doesn't need downgrading and iWorld?
Hi, I am a newbie here.
Am very confused at the moment because I have bought Turbo SIM card from a seller in China and she told me that I don't need to follow the normal unlocking procedures of downgrading my iPhone from 1.1.2 to 1.1.1 and installing iWorld etc to unlock my iPhone. Here is the instruction she gave me:
Special SIM card that works with your original SIM card
Insert this SIM card into your iPhone and your iPhone can work in your country net.
Instructions:
1. Prepare your SIM card, turbo SIM and pen knife.
2. Cut your SIM card according to the turbo SIM IC chip.
3. Place your SIM card together with turbo SIM and put it in to your iPhone, now the iPhone is unlocked.
I know this doesn't make sense hence I kept asking her to confirm it but she kept insisting that her procedure has been tested working and asked me to follow hers. I am not a techno savvy and I won't dare to try it before getting any confirmation because I can't risk such a costly iPhone. Could you guys please help me? Has anyone come across to such a card? Any idea will be greatly appreciated. Thanks heaps.

Thanks napster89!
Does it mean that it can't work with the non activated iPhones? Meaning can I do the common jailbreaking procedures and then use the card to unlock my phone? Anyway, if the iPhone is of UK version, can this card be used? Thanks a lot in advance.
