still got my Turbosim from the early days at home, just the iphone 3G is missing.... switzerland not too far way.... but completely sold out of prepaid iphones 3G packages ... ;-(

allright, got a turbosim, a activated iphone 3g and some old prepaidcards at home, i should be able to test it in 2 hours when i get home...

hey
i installed lamesaft in a baldox turbosim and it works. but i only can make calls.
all in comming calls donßt work

damn, can't try it. every simcard i got is orange or one of orange's partners and they all work in the 3g...

ok, that was expected

now I'll just add a counter to check if the baseband is reading the IMSI several times. If not, then we'll know for sure that this solution is a dead end.

you can still test with your Orange card, even if you're locked to Orange

Turbosim works alright. Incoming/outgoing work based on the video by the brazilians. These are still pictures from Ta Mobile himself and dtube.

Note that calling a number first, then calling back from this number the "unlocked" phone does not count - a temporary circuit could be established in the network.

You need to call from a number that didn't call this number before the registration for a decent proof. Don't know if I'm being clear here

Makes sense. Once I get how it was done, will pass on info

On a side note Zf, aviegas will speak to the brazilians on monday when he gets back. I passed his email along to him but I am not sure if it was the correct one.
