Erm... if you activate it you'd have to start paying a lot of money to AT & T and then you could just use that instead of the turbosim So yeah, no activation, all the turbosim needs is a few numbrs from the AT&T card.

Another question on the same subject. When programming multiple TurboSim's I can use the same AT&T card? It is necessary to use AN AT&T card not THE AT&T card, right?

Again, I haven't done any, but as far as I have understood the information extracted from the AT&T card only moves between the turbosim and the iPhone, nowhere else, so you should be quite safe to use the same AT&T sim for any number of turbosims. I think even a similar question was posed under the turbosim discussion in the supersim part of this forum and the answer was the same.

I can confirm using the same At&t unactivated sim to program 5 diferent turbosims without problems, using 1 iphone to program all of them. hope this helps!

I thought that it was OK to activate with AT&T because then you could cancel within 30 days?

Basically a friend in California is buying me an iPhone this weekend then shipping to me here in Belgium. It's unclear to me whether he has to activate or do anything over there, or just send it on to me without any further action.
