I have a 3g with bb 2.30.03. I have jailbroken it. Will T-mobile internet work with a turbo sim? or am I stuck with Wifi until I can unlock it? I'm new to all of this and any advise would help.

in the usa, edge will work without any extra software, you only need to put epc . tmobile . com in your APN
In otherwords, just install your sim and wait for a signal.
then turn off your wifi, then under APN put epc . tmobile . com
then enjoy.
Note: this only works if you already pay for network such as tzones.

can you turn your wifi back on after putting in the epc.tmobile.com? so that when you're in wifi range you're on ur wiif network instead of the TM edge internet?

i just got the $10 plan with 200 text messages added last week. still waiting for my turboSIM.

yes, i only stated that you need to turn off you wifi in order to check you connection to edge, after that just turn you wifi back on and it will use either one

i tried epc.tmobile.com and that didn't work, then i tried the wap.voicestream.com and that worked fine.

gave t-mobile a call and asked why epc.tmobile.com didn't work, and they told me to use internet2.voicestream.com, which was supposed to be "special" for iphones
