I live in Thailand and have tried all the recent prepaid cards, True, Happy Dpromp, AIS GMS, DTAC and Orange.

All of them are version 2 sim cards and the Ki cannot be extracted.

The cards that will work are the very old DTAC sims that say 1800 on them from about 7 years old and the AIS Sims from the same time period.

You will need to find a relative or a friend that still has these old cards, pretty hard to find.

I am on a trip to Indonesia now and have purchased all the local prepaid cards.
I was able to extract the Ki from simPATI (but have not tested on Iphone)

Was not able to extract Ki from:
- TELKOMSEL simPATI
- XL Jangkauan luas hemat berkualitas Jempol
- Indosat Mentari

I'm in Indonesia. I can extract from my Telkomsel and I heard from my friend that it is possible to Indosat, as well.

I don't think we can extract Ki from ProXL or 3, since they use a "v3" SIMcard.

But, it's so hard to find TurboSim here. Any help from Indonesia?

You don't need TurboSim you need a silver card. You can order it from internet.
