    Question [SuperSIM] How to prepare it ?

    Hi all,
    Just got my USB GSM SIM CARD READER/WRITER. Was trying to use WoronScan to get IMSI/ICCID/KI no. Getting following problem:

    Phoenix device selected COM port is not available...
    Communication problem... closing COM port...
    Phoenix device selected COM port is not available...
    Communication problem... closing COM port...
    Can't select 3F00 file

    Whats the problem? Please HELPPP

    No. I dont. Where do I get it from? I have just installed the driver which came along with the SIM READER/WRITER.

    When I plug it in, it shows Found New Hardware - Serial To Parallel (driver file in Device Manager - ser2pl.dll). Should it appear as a disk drive ?

    i had the same problem,you have to set the speed correct,change reader speed from the software to 3.57,.476,7.14
    one of them will work

    Thanks. Tried it but didn't help. I tried all the speed options but still error message. I have the SIM MAX reader. The software on the driver CD - SIM Scanner also says-

    Connection Failed.
    Please reinsert the SIM card and check if reader is connected properly.
    CAUTION: If you use the high frequency reader. Please change to a normal one instead.

    So, I guess there is something to do with the speed/frequency to get it working. Please help me with it.

    Hi there, did you buy the SuperSim + reader off ebay from the Chinese?

    The item is of very low quality and I don't believe it will work to unlock the iPhone as you intend... I would personally not waste any more time, but if you get it to work, please tell me!!!

    Im quite sure that the device does not work good because it is designed for ONE specific type of sim card... Sorry to bring you the bad news.

    Hi,

    Got my SIM READER/WRITER to work finally. Just had to set the frequency manually in WoronScan. So, Chinese stuff is not always bad and "low quality". Sometimes it works better than expensive gadgets !!!
