Default [StealthSIM] Can a software problem damage it ?

Hi i had a working 1.1.2OOB iphone with stealthsim and i decided to instal the "service" app, bad idea, what happened was that the phone lost the sim and all i got was the "no sim" message. What i did was that i restored it and made all the unlocking procedures same as last time but i still get the "no sim" when stealthsim is in place.

    at&t works as normal
    at&t+stealth works as normal
halebop(my provider) alone works and i get the "incorrect sim"
    halebop+stealth=no sim

what i wonder is if it is possible that the serviceapp damaged the stealthsim in some way? sounds lika a far throw but i dont know what else it could be.
The simcard is a new one my old one wouldnt work so i got this new one wich did work first try.

In another post I described my issues with StealthSIM and what I did was restore completely to 1.1.1 and follow the procedure to 1.1.2 and did NOT install anything or restore saved settings from iTunes. I think some methods say you need BSD Subsystem to do the 1.1.2 update, do NOT install it.

I have NO idea what was wrong or bad, but starting from scratch fixed the problem....
