I can see the "E" icon on your picture, which mean you are using the slow EDGE for internet, which is faster than GPRS, but much slower than 3G HSDPA which theorectically is 3.6M in iPhone 3G.

I guess your operator do not have 3G signal , or no 3G HSDPA there. You have turn on the 3G mode, but if the 3G network is not available, the iPhone will select the 2G network automatically. You better check with your operator in your location to see if 3G network that match the iPhone 3G frequency is available there.

Or may be your *sim does not support 3G network at all. The *sim will lock down your iPhone to 2G network to cheat the network & the *sim user as well.

Ask your operator which phone model can use the 3G network, then I can check what frequency this phone can support to see whether the frequency supported is same as iPhone 3G.
I posted that picture because the speed is weird. I never say that I don't know how to get 3G working on t-mobile. And I didn't ask for help. You just wasting your time posting that much. Lolz!
    Thanks anyway!

    The thing is U.S. T-mobile 3G doesn't compatible with iPhone 3G.

Test it yourself before saying that speedtest.net doesn't work on iPhone.
That web works perfectly on iPhone with t-mobile.

If I browse with Safari on the iPhone to speedtest.net, it's telling me to install Flash 7, and that it requires it.

There is no flash for Safari on the iPhone. I fail to see how you ran that test.

If you ever think of testing your iPhone with AT&T prepaid, don't. It kept beeping with SMS messages, "your last transaction cost $0.16 or $0.40," and so on. It was checking, email, weather, whatever at $0.0195 per KB. GEEZ. If you browse a website, you'll get a $1000 bill.

I got fed up with SIM not correct message from iTunes. I pwned it. As expected, it's rubbish. Typical open source apps with a million url erros and low quality. If I could replace the Lockdown folder without that, I would. I have not seen one app worthy of the trouble. I tried quake. It crashed. I'm hopping that the xSIMS will fix the airplane mode, and I can restore my firmware.

Just got my Virgin Sim samples (VERY fast shipping) and testing it now.

First impressions: No cutting required! IC is on the back. It finds signal FAST after rebooting and loss of signal (universal sim takes awhile to find signal)

Haven't tested long duration of signal loss, will test for a week and write a review.

Virgin sim was send to PSLiNK by fedex waybill is 8658 1382 4813. I only send out the fast version to you because I do not want to confuse you with the normal speed one. I get confussed sometime because they look the same except the software is different.

Just a reminder to other testers, the Virgin Sim with a red line on top of the IC is our new "high speed" (Fast speed Version) software design, the one with black line is our "normal Speed" . The fast version has a faster network search speed as compare with other existing *sim.

Known issue: we need to power off & on again the iPhone to get signal again if it has been switched to flight mode. We can bypass this issue, but we shall lost the STK menu which is used by some operators.

We shall consider all the feedbacks & improve the functions on our Virgin Sim.

Just a quick question, What version of the iphone have you been testing on (2.0 or 2.1) and what is your modem firmware?

I just tap on My Result, and it shows that speed.
I think I made a mistake. That speed belongs to somebody.

There was a delay with shipping.
I won't get new version of Universal sim until next Tuesday.
I'll let you guy know next week when I got it.
