BTW, I found out that the settings on the sim hack DOES affect AGPS functionality. Different settings on my Universal SIM enabled/disabled my GPS ability on my iPhone 3G while everything else still worked. I'm guessing that it has something to do with the way the phone interacts with the cell towers to obtain information to help with AGPS?
So may I suggest that everyone test AGPS functionality as well?

good feedback. a little wierd that you have to reboot in few days. I have not experience this in atlanta. I did notice that if I pass a deadzone/blackhole (where no tmobile signal, all tmobile phones will not have signal in this area), my iphone+tornadosim+tmobile will show no service and need reboot.
My opinion is that when tornadosim lose signal from carrier, iphone will treat it as no sim and will require reinserting the sim like the first time you use tornadosim.
anyway, I will post when we receive the new thin version. its the same with current version just thinner

There still is the issue of rebooting the phone (after 2 days), and recently, after 4 days, physically taking the operator sim out and getting it to work in a working phone and putting them both back in the iPhone 3G. This is still much more stable than StealthSim SE which required me to reboot twice daily. I hope unlockcelluar will send me his new thinner solution.
I ordered 2 Universal Sims with PKey THREE weeks ago through gsm-traders, and I still haven't gotten them! Possibly manole can send me a sample or two so I can dump/review the results of the new version. Thank you TEAM for where we have come so far!

Looks like I am of the Last of the Mohicans. I have both, an AT&T locked iPhone 3G and an officially unlocked iPhone 3G. I use them both at the same time to see how each sim compares to an official unlock. If anyone else would like me to try their sim, PM me.

LostSoul,
There were two friends here in Brazil that had the same problem.
I'm on the third day of testing on the Universal SIM and everything is working fine.
Universal SIM Testing Status:
3G: working
Calls In/Out: working
SMS In/Out: working
Moving between tower cells: working

Update on my iphone-
It's going through an infinite loop of restarting and the network settings in the phone are hay wired. Airplane mode won't turn on, it instantly turns itself off, network settings don't change, and this is with the simcard out
. It doesn't recognize when no sim is installed, it just keeps searching and gives me no bars. This is after 2 days with Universal Sim. I doubt it's the sim's fault, but I'm just reporting what happened. I'm going to restore with pwned 2.0.2 firmware....
