Rebel Sim 2.2.1 No 2g period.
Well, great i just had a couple of my mates order the same card i have since it was working fine before the firmware upgrade...
But since the website magically says it was guaranteed to work with 2G i thought, well it worked why wouldn't it now.
So not only im i left without a working phone..i had more people spending money on my recommendation.
Support is not there...I tried restoring the phone. Tried different firmware versions and nothing.
I either get the No Sim installed problem, or the "Different card detected" problem.
Im using a Cypriot (Cyprus) simcard and it doesnt work.
Anyone have any suggestions i can try? Kind of desperate right now.
Thanks in advance

Right make sure you have reset the network settings on your ipgone 3g and make sure the iphone is in 2g mode and data roaming is set to on.
insert your simcard with the rebel sim and toggle airplane mode on-off and wait.
there should be 3 cycles the rebelsim will do to get a good signal.
once the 3 cycles ((one of them cycles you should see a signal if you get no service after 3 cycles you need to manual search your your carrier and selet it)) is done u should see dots where signal bars should be?
toggle airplane mode on-off and it should say sim failure then turn off your iphone and turn it back on and you should get a signal.
Try different locations or outside in the open.
