I have a new 1.1.2 OTB iPhone and I unlocked it with a Gevey SIM from the beginning.

But there is a strange phenomenon: when the battery indicator is a bit less than half, the phone stops and displays the "battery empty" indicator. When I connect the charger, the phone starts charging beginnig from where it left (not from empty). Then after charge everything is ok for about 2 days when the battery level indicator goes below half when the phone stops again.

I have not had time to check without the Gevey SIM ( I have an AT&T card which came with the phone ) but I suspect the unlock sim is the problem.

Did you encounter this problem ?

I have a GEVEY Sim as well and I have never seen that behaviour, so I wouldn't assume that was the cause.

Ive made a thorough research, it cant be the the gevey is drainin the batter, ituses a F300 chipset, the same that is used in china3gpp, and their power consumption in depreciable. And for the behavior of your battery level indicator it seems there is a problem in the iphone, try restoring it , and tell us if you solved the problem please.
