Hey there..
I'm posting this because I read on another thread that today a u-sim user got the dreadful 'No Service' message, same one I got today since 4pm.
I was wondering if any other users have this same problem. (Only Universal Sim v5.5.0)

If you upgraded the baseband then yeh its going to stop working.
Though I did read on another forum a trick that might work.
Remove the sim and *sim and reboot.
Put them back in and as soon as you do before the no service thing pops up make a call. According to that post after that it worked fine and they even had an option in setting to select a network as if it was officially unlocked.
Again I can not confirm that this works.
The problem is fixed.
I really didn't do anything, as I just left the iPhone plugged in the charger last night.
When I checked it around 12 or 1pm, it had service again, and everything was back to normal.
Makes me wonder if the network was trying to block my Sim or something.
Shady Telcel. My N95 did have a signal next to my 'No Service' iPhone.
Anyway.
