UK iphone - TURBO SIM + voicemail problms
I thought I'd share my negatives with Turbo SIM with UK iphone users. It appears that voicemail is completely messed up on iphone using turbosim. I actually think it is not the turbo sims fault but rather the way iphone handles voicemail itself.
I am with O2 contract. If someone calls and leaves me a voicemessage, i get a missed call with the caller ID, but no alerts to new voice mail. Even no text message from 901 services to tell me I have new voice msge. The only way to find out is if you manually dial 901 and check if any new msges.
THis is a bit of a downer - but nothing still compared to the overall experience of having a fully working iphone. Even the call experience matches the feel as with the rest of the phone applications.
Should anyone know oof a workaround to above, please share.
Also, SMS works great BUT i never changed or entered any SMS centre number - does this mean it is using an AT&T SMS service number?
