silvercard battery exhausting

hi ppl im using a silvercard with my iphone..
i just feel that the battery life is draining out extra fast ... could it be due to the silvercard?
i keep my phone next to my music system when i charge it and the GSM sounds (like when u make a call and are in front of a speaker system) keep coming from the speakers all the time.

does the silvercard exhaust battery life faster

sounds like the silvercard is similar to those Dual Sim card holders. They also drain the battery on other phones (used to cut about 2-3 hrs off the life of my Nokia N95).

Lifespan on TurboSIM seems to be the same - with or without the turboSIM (i checked this on my 1.1.2 with BL 3.9 phone a week ago.
