Rumor: iPhone functioning on Australian network, Telstra?
An Australian hacker that goes by the name of ozbimmer has managed to get his iPhone to make calls on the Australian network, Telstra. According to the report, the hacker managed to somehow create his own SIM card using information from an AT&T SIM and a Tesltra SIM. It is not an unlock, exactly, but the device is supposedly fully functional. Well, almost. Apparently it can neither send or receive SMS, nor can it receive calls, only place them.
The hacker released a short video of himself, demoing the hacked iPhone.
