Could someone please explain something to me.
I am in the UK and currently on 02 pay as you go with a sim card from 2006.
1) If i buy all the correct hardware from the guide on the first page will i be able to use my iphone on 02?
2) Which features of the iphone would I be able to use? I read somewhere that it would not be possible to make recieve calls.

Sometimes in the wealth of technical stuff here the simple things can get buried.
1) If you mean the SuperSim method... Lots of people are reporting that the SIM cloning (which is what the SuperSim method is) works for them.
2) If you successfully clone your sim card you will be able to make and receive calls, SMS, etc. Plus the iPod/PDA functions too! YOu will not be able to use Visual Voicemail as this is currently an AT&T only feature. And whether or not you can use edge will depend on O2 - I'm sure someone will be able to clarify that. I can use Edge on Vodafone.

1) Yes, an update COULD prevent this from working... always good to check latest update information out here BEFORE upgrading your phone!
