Friend of mine has an iPhone3g 16 Gb running 2.2 and using a rebelsim piggyback chip to unlock it.
He recently purchased an internet add-on from Three but nobody is willing to give us the settings to use on the phone.
Anybody else done this or know the settings? Or even if it is possible?

There isn't much I hate more than trying to get something from three customer support.
I'm not using 2.2 but I am using a rebelsim with the latest firmware. Three have a couple of internet settings the one I'm using is:
APN: three.co.uk
User/Pass: blank
Data roaming switched on.
Works ok for me, I haven't tested v54 of rebelsim's firmware for long yet but it seems to work ok for calls and data on Three so all should be well for you.
Thanx 4 that...it appears that you need 3G running for it to work, and unfortunately we are still waiting for the new firmware on the rebel which will allow 3G on firmware 2.2....only allows 2G at the mo but at least we now know how to get it working as and when.
