iPhone 3G sim solution for Cyprus

Hey guys, I have a locked iPhone 3G and I'm currently in the Uk on the official carrier but I'm going to Cyprus for christmas. Is there anyone from Cyprus that uses a sim solution for his iPhone 3G that is working with Cyta (Cyprus carrier) without any problems ?

PS: I would like to add that I don't care about using 3G in Cyprus. I will only use my iPhone for calls, texting and only use wi-fi.

Also, with 2.02, Im sure you have "many" options. Don't forget the "old" rule DO NOT update the FW!(by accident or not)

I actually just sold one unlock sim to turkish-cypric guy who had O2 pay-as-you go then working in Cyprus.

If you want internet using 3G, make sure you enter correct network settings, that is all.

Calls in/out, Sms in/out should work 100% since the sim-proxy just fakes a signal, unlocking the iPhone.

Hi Mixalisc, because you and him in the same state, ask him about the return/ refund IF the card is not worked in Cyprus. OR simply, ..hm..I advice you BUY the 1st gen iPhone on Ebay or whatever, do software unlocked ( very easy :hack: and 100% worked ) use it while you in Cyprus then, sell it before you back to UK! And indeed you make some .;):iphone:.hmmm$$$ for sure.
Do it now while you still have time, make sure you buy it from the "right" person.Hey, you can buy more than one and you make more money:D..ha..ha..am I right??
