Games4play and turbo sim
i was just wondering if any of the members here have had any dealings with games4play .com
basically i am looking for anyone who has had any previous experiences with them good or bad. long story short, i bought a turbo sim from there site on the 28th nov. i got my email reciept ok. I checked my bank yesterday and they have took out 150 pounds out my account!! i only ordered one!! thought it must be some mistake so i have tried to mail them three times. never get a reply, and if i have tried to ring them once i have tried a thousand times, no-one answers. So im hoping someone has had a good deal with them, cos im thinking that i have been skanked well and good.
Any info would be much appreciated.
I am in the same boat - I placed my order on the 30th. I became a bit anxious when the website promised same day delivery and special delivery so when it didn't come on the Friday I thought it would come on the Saturday.
Saturday passed and I sent them an email and have been calling all day and I'm not receiving any response.
The TurboSim is no longer on their website so it's looking doubtful it's in stock.
The good new is that providing you paid by card you can claim the money back through the merchant who processes their card transactions so I wouldn't worry too much.
I'm more concerned that I will have to wait ages to get this sorted out.
I could have quite easily ordered elsewhere for half the price but I wanted the TurboSIM ASAP and it looks like this will take forever to sort.
I'm not impressed with Games4Play and if it is out of stock I wont be happy that I had to find out myself.

beware anyone else trading with them for the other items they sell. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!! EVEN IF THEY ARE GENUINE WHICH I DOUBT THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT!!!!
hi just a quick update, i have have contacted the merheant who will not help me, they say i have to contact the owner of the site to resolve any issues. Quite hard to do when they wont pick up the phone. No matter, i know where the company is and i could do with a day out.

I've been doing a bit of digging and I've managed to get some pieces of information that may be of use.
On the WHOIS of the domain it's registered to:

It has the same telephone number as listed on their website - 08456447655.
I managed to get another email address:

The payment is processed on behalf of Games4Play by a company called Protx (they are a well known, reliable payment processing company).

I called Protx, the representative was very helpful and offered to send an email to the owner directly. He described the situation and provided him my contact details. He also forwarded a copy of the email to myself. In which he mistakenly gave me the email address of the owner (uhh ohh). I had previously asked for any alternative contact addresses but he had said he couldn't do that. So that was lucky I suppose.
Anyway his details are:

So you could try contacting him there also. Protx said that they cant offer me a refund as this has to be done by the merchant however if they receive enough complaints they will investigate the issue and arrange refunds for the fraudulent transactions :-)
However we have to email our complaints to email@example.com. I would recommend you do the same.
Hopefully we'll get this sorted out. I think I'm going to order one elsewhere because I don't want to give these idiots money. I want a refund now. I would have been happy with the TurboSIM but not anymore.

Those details are most intesting i will be contacting Mr delahunt this evening and seeing his reply. I shall let you know. i will also be contacting protx and making a severe complaint. I am also thinking of contacting his host and complaining to them ( it it will do any good lol)
so basically i am going to bombard him with mails until he sorts refunds. I also contacted the police who did say that technically he is breaking the law under the falsely selling items act. Cant remember specifics of what they said but it looked promising. Failing that i might even take a drive down to this place and knock on the door. If your interested in coming then all the merrier. Its not that i dont mind delays but i get pissed when im blanked.
My bank has also advised me (HSBC) that games4play has tried to take ANOTHER 74.99 out my account but they refused the transaction. As i requested this the other day when i contacted them about it.
So all in all were getting progress and now lets see what mr Delahunt has to say. (if anything)
hi mate, forgot to mention that i have now ordered one direct from bladox. i got an email this morning stating that they are shipping to me now!! unfortunatly they have had to close there ordering for the sim as they are fast running out but they say they will have new stock asap. 53 quid including shipping. At least i know its coming!!
I was thinking of contacting his host too - I dont suppose they'd be best pleased he's out there scamming people through their servers.
I'd love to knock on his door and demand my TurboSIM or my money back but I'm in Scotland.

I noticed that when I was on earlier but if you've got an email saying it's shipping then I'll definitely just order one from them. The only reason I picked Games4Play was because they promise next day delivery with same day shipping. I was well aware that Bladox was much cheaper. Ahhh well.
just to let you know i have mailed him and have demanded my money back within three days or further action will be taken. Yes i am sure if we contact his host they would not be too pleased. Would you be able to find out who that is barry?
And as for Bladox, yes mate order from them, i know it will take longer to get to you but at least you will get one!!

I'm just waiting for Bladox to reopen the store for orders. I emailed them to see if someone cancels an order or one becomes available. Hopefully I'll get my hands on one soon.
