Need some big help here using the Terminal and Turbo SIM. After typing in the IP number of the iPhone the terminal says "no support for smartcards" and I cant go on with the instructions.
Am I doing something wrong here ?

The Terminal asks for password but I cannot put anything in and it keeps saying that there is no support for smartcards...??
Iīm completely lost.
When giving them "0755 rights" it says 755. I assume that is correct ?
I really would need some help using the terminal.

Tks for the tutorial man!
It worked well untill i did th 1.1.2 update in itunes...it's bricked again...even after jailbreak 1.1.2
In 2. step 7 the installer didn't ask for an update...could it be this?
i'm downgrading it now to 1.1.1 again...
if anyone can help...

any cred is well apreciated. coz this tut is changing any hour, and might as well KEEP changing any hour, although i believe we are near at the optimum. it is not like there are no other tutorials to do all this on this forum, i just did this to a) understand what will happen while doing all this weird stuff and b) to have a fukkin good tutorial at hand, when i will receive my iphone at december 10th and my turbosim at approx. the same time.Quote:

this cant be. if you succesfully downgraded to 1.1.1, jailbroke and activated with independence or ibrickr and did the steps according to the instructions in the youtube video, afterwards DID install oktoprep, you should only have to update to 1.1.2 via itunes, and jailbreak.jar SHOULD work by then! i have no idea why it didnīt...... did you leave out or miss a point in the tutorial?Quote:

dues it matter if i used appsnap to jailbreak it insted of "independence or ibrickr"? i can continue from installing oktprep etc...
i really dont know what you are doing wrong. with the terminal you are just SSHing into your phone once, terminal should just once ask for a password, which is "alpine", afterwards few commands will have to be executed and thatīs it! where is the prob?Quote:
