I've got a week 39 US iPhone with an Orange France sim card. I've purchased a Stealthsim and installed it per instructions. Unfortunately I initially got nothing but "no sim" errors repeatedly so I trimmed the sim card down a bit more and now don't get that error anymore however there are no networks picking my phone up. All I see is a row of empty bars followed shortly by the words "no service". I'm wondering if Stealthsim is designed to only work on a given cell provider's network? I know that my sim card works no problem in a software unlocked iphone (courtesy of my brother) so if Stealthsim's doing its job then my sim card should work in my still locked (and jail broken) 1.1.2 iPhone.

Ah, details. I had virginized my phone and it still had the virginized baseband firmware in place (03.14.08_G). I updated the firmware to 04.02.13_G and all appears to be working as promised. Hopefully Stealthsim will continue to work after future firmware upgrades.
