    Also, how did you get the ISA app to work when it seems to me that it will not load the IMSI properly and you need to insert the AT&T sim anyhow.
    Cheers!
    Yes.. after putting the ISA app on the TSIM, I actually cut up the AT&T SIM and put it in the TSIM, put the combination into the phone, and used the ISA app to read the AT&T card's IMSI # (it can read as well as store the IMSI and ICCID of the piggyback'd SIM). The I just typed those into the FAKE SIM "IMSI" and "ICCID" fiedls on the TSIM.

    Would you mind putting up your ISA install guide again? By all means put a big disclaimer on it and a warning sign too, but it worked for me - I'm sure others would like the choice of using the ISA app if they can

    Okay, there are like 5 pages of people talking about unlocking their phones with these two methods ... I have to know this:

    Has ANYONE in the USA successfully unlocked thier iPhones? If so, which mobile carriers are you currently using you iPhone with?!

    Thanks

    not on here i dont think.... but man, it works everywhere.... what provider are you on? i can try a tmobile sim tomorrow, but i'm going to be roaming, but its gonna work, its worked for all over the world, where mobile technologies advance much quicker than in the us and its reported to never have failed....

    not one user posting he never got it to work... we know it works on just about all australian networks, all in the uk, all in hk, in taiwan on at least 2 networks, china, switzerland, germany, italy, brazil, what more confirmation do y'all want?!

    this is GSM, it isnt US-GSM, its standard, and its gonna work on t-mobile us (just like it works on t-mobile uk, and germany)... it wont work on verizon or sprint cause they use a different trype of netowkr...

    I'm in the US, and on T-Mobile. Are you in the US? If so, can you try a TMobile SIM?

    I am really REALLY excited about this - my iPhone shipped today (I got in on the $499 8GB Refurbed iPhone from apple.com today).

    A couple more quick questions about TurboSIM:

    Assuming I'm going to use TurboSIM ... when my iPhone arrives, how should I activate it?! I read on the tutorial that you can't use DVD John's program?

    Help!

    I am massively frustrated. I have done this twice, from a clean restore, and I still can't get it to work.

    I have (on a Mac):

    1. Activated using iActivator;
    2. Jailbreak'd;
    3. Installed SSH;
    4. Installed Fugu (SFTP);
    5. Cut up my sim-cards to work;
    6. Managed to install Applesaft and "SET" it on the iPhone

    HOWEVER, having come to the last step, when I put in my own sim with TSim, it simply says "incorrect sim, this iphone must be used with an approved sim". I have the EDGE menu and everything.

    Grrr....What do I do? I am really stuck and at the end of my rope.... Help! What am I doing wrong?

    (btw - I am on o2 in the UK, using my blackberry's sim, which as far as I know is a perfectly ordinary sim that works in other sim-free phones).

    OK FOR THE FINAL (AND HOPEFULLY LAST TIME):

    ISA tutorial is back and confirmed to work! Please follow the tutorial very, very closely, and do not miss out or skip or improvise *anything*. Please report if it works for you, thanks!

    Hi, thanks for all your help, and for putting the ISA tutorial back up. I'm very curious what the big difference is between the original ISA app and the 0.93 version you're using now. I'm using the original version with my legitimately-activated AT&T iPhone without any problems at all. Were problems encountered only from users trying to install the app via the iPhone instead of by using a second phone, or am I missing something more fundamental?

    Thanks.
