Hi,

I cut a brand new unactivated Rogers SIM card to fit with the HyperSIM and inserted into the jailbroken 1.1.2 otb iphone. I'm getting "No Service", is this because the SIM must be activated with Rogers first?

I figure either:

1) Rogers must activate it, after which it'll get service. OR
2) I damaged it when cutting to fit in the Hyper SIM. OR
3) I'm missing some apps on the phone (I have iWorld set to USA since Canada is not in the list).

You cut it fine. It will say No Service till Rogers activates the sim.

I bought a sim here in Jamaica and it did the same thing till it was activated byt he phon company
