New Gevey Plus2 Turbo Sim/ with / Tmobile prepaid TO GO card.
I just ordered a Gevey Plus2 Turbo sim card off of Ebay for $10.Usd Along with a unused Tmobile Prepaid To Go Activation sim card.
I didn't know what to get as far as Sim adapters, or Tmobile sim cards.
But I'm hoping these two are compatible and it's not money spent on what hopefully doesn't turn out to be garbage.
Any feedback on if I'm doing it right.. would be greatly appreciated.

I purchased the Gevey Plus2 Turbo from an authorized Gevey distributor. I have not experienced any major problems with the Gevey, but have found it works better than the Rebel and i-Smartphone. The only feature that will not function is 3G. As per the instructions, disable 3G and enable data roaming. If data roaming is not enabled, you will not receive an Edge signal.

Well I have a Gevey2 sim adpater, bought it for $20.00 here in chicagoland area, everyone is selling them, by far it is the best I have used, I have had rebel sim (sux azz), I have had I-smartphone and universal sim they both worked pretty good until signal lost, had to pop my sim back into a regular t-mobile phone to get regain signal(sux because who wants to carry 2 phones for that purpose), then I got a Gevey2, and no your phone does NOT have to be jailbroken to use it, just mate it up with your regular t-mobile sim if your in the states and there ya go....
just make sure like one guy said, make sure 3g is OFF and data roaming is ON (enabled) and your good to go, you never have to take it out again, it will be moments where you will loose signal or it says no sim card, just dont worry, if it says no sim, just eject your sim and push it right back down, DO NOT take it out completely, this has happened twice since i have had a gevey2 for 3 weeks now, sometimes you will get a no signal, dont worry, it will search again for a tower and signal comes back, i am in chicago land area which is 3g for t-mobile, but no 3g for iphone of course, but i get EDGE bars always.

Wow how are you guys getting these to work mine worked for 20 minutes then it said no sim rebooted the phone than worked again but not for long not worth the hassle. went back to 2g

How's the fit? Do you need the tape like the rebel (I just got the Gevey, and have some questions in the other thread too)?
Thanks!

Gevey works waaay better than the Rebel Sim and cost less than half the price.
I went with the Rebel (bought 2!! one for backup) thinking more expensive meant quality. Far from it! The Rebel sells this BS that their sim is updateable but really when thinking about it I don't see a need for having to update..
Whenever the Rebel loses signal it takes forever to regain signal. One occurance took more than a day to regain signal-this is when I decided to go with the Gevey!!!
I've had the GEvey for a week now and not a single issue. I will let you know in the next week or so how things working.
Should have gone with the least expensive and then move up.
Anyways. Anyone wants a rebelsim I have one for free or nearly free.
