Yes i'd agree... enough time wasted proving something I already know is true.

    Hi!

As you are selling the i-Smartphone Storm sims, maybe you can help me with exactly this proxy sim. I just got one and I had a rebel sim before. Unfortunately, I experienced the same problems as some others, mainly I couldn't receive any calls - so I decided to try another proxy sim, the Storm.

I first tried T-Mobile, who sells the iPhone in Germany. First I got a signal for about 10 sec. or so, then it disappeared again and I couldn't regain it. Next, I tried a Vodafone sim, followed by an O2 sim. Bot can't pick up a signal at all - I just get "searching" for some time, followed by the typical "no service" message. I've also tried a Three UK Sim (for when I stay in the UK) and with this one, the iPhone even says that no sim card is installed, so I can't even get to the stage where the phone tries to search for a network.

I have another iPhone with Yellowsn0w and this one works fine with all these cards. I deactivated Yellosn0w and used the Storm sim, just to test that it is not the fault of the first iPhone with the new baseband, and even with the older baseband of my other iPhone, the card won't work.

I've already tried putting the phone into airplane mode for a few seconds, doesn't help. As said, one sim picks up a signal (but only for a few seconds), two don't pick up a signal and with one not even the installed sim is recognized.

Any idea what that might be? Could it be a faulty Storm proxy sim? Or do you have any other ideas what I could try? Any settings or so?

    Thanks

    Alex

    Dear Alex,

as an official reseller of the i-Smartphone turbo sim I can state with certainty that the sim proxy you have is faulty. Since it picked up signal in the first instance, this means that the turbosim itself is capable of unlocking your 2.30.03 for usage in Germany on Tmobile. But since you said it lost signal in 10 seconds, this means the chip has an internal fault.

I am assuming 3G is turned off in network settings, as this is required for network stability.

I myself have sold countless chips to Germans, Austrians, Americans etc. and 95% of my customers are happy buyers or repeat purchasers, so I am confident the product I am offering is capable of unlocking your iPhone. If you had purchased the chip off me and it was faulty, I would replace it for you.

Moreover, certain networks (One French network in particular) use odd sim cards and you must either update your sim card or use another network. Rebel sim and other proxies can not be used to unlock these older (brick pattern on the sim card), as I have personally tested it on an old Vodafone SIM UK with no luck, but once a newer Vodafone sim was tested, flawless stability.

    Kind regards,

    KLP

I got an iSmartphone storm, and it worked fine, made calls and sent texts, until I turned off my iphone. After turning back on, it's useless. No signal, then tells me no sim card, and repeat. Turning Airplane mode off and on does nothing.

Am I doing something wrong? Cause I'm gonna get a gevey otherwise

    Hello sir,

did you turn off 3G in network settings?

the stability of the iSmartphone turbosims (Latest V.) is excellent with regards to phone, text, and most EDGE data networks.

    Kind regards,

I did the network reset thing a few times and it works again. Unfortunately now the main problem is whenever my phone loses service, it never comes back and keeps telling me I have no sim and no service. I have to keep reseting the network settings in an area where I DO have service, sometimes it takes one try, sometimes it takes like 20.

On another note, when i sync my iphone with itunes, it asks me something about updating my carrier settings, or something like that. I say no because I don't know what that'll do with the turbosim. Do you know what it does and if I should do it?

Yes you should update carrier settings and also after turning off 3G and resetting Airplane mode, just reset your iPhone.

It is also possible that you may have bought an out of date version of the i-Smartphone turbosim

    Kind regards

    KLP
