im using a turbosim in my iphone 3g Fw 2.1
and i only can recieve text and calls while i am on the phone idk whats wrong with it

First of all, try to ask/ complaint to the seller (the most important because they got your money).
Make sure your baseband is not 228. If that is not, there are some sim solutions are worked on 2.1 FW with 2.11(baseband/ modem), such as; Gevey/ismartphone/virgin/etc..you can see it on this section. Maybe you get the Fake one!
Because most of those sim solutions are not required very specific skill to do it, some of them you can use it right away.

but i got the turbosim for free.
and 2.1 i dont think it has baseband 2.28
and i really dont kno whats wrong i think i might need a updated turbosim..

Maybe that was "free" the reason, I mean, they don't 100% sure that their product is good or not. Try to get the one is not free man! Such as; Virgin, Gevey, i-smartphone, Rebel, NGK, Sony, Ford...etc....

This time try to buy one of them. Before you buy, you can see some reviews in this section ( sim solution ). Again, almost all of them work "perfectly" on Firmware 211.

It sound you are good to go.
Just remember, read the manual/ direction.
Insert the chip while the iPhone is "TURNED OFF" as describe on the manual.(there is no manual included on the package, just go to their website you'll see it.)
Read about how to turn on/ off the 3G (if you use the 2G, turn off the 3G).
I've confidence you'll not see any problems this time, if that is not fake. how do I know this is fake or not? Go to their website, it distinguish very clearly.
