Have you tried the update with a supersim yet?

If you have is your phone still working? I have not tried it yet myself.

I'd like to upgrade, but without any confirmation that it works with the SuperSim methord, I won't be doing so any time soon.

Someone must have tried it tho... so any info would be helpful.

From what I have read so far, we need to wait to be able to activate the phone at least. So not as long a wait as the software unlock one would hope.

It would be very useful to know if a 1.1.1 iPhone which has been downgraded to 1.0.2 (but kept the un-downgradable 04.01.13 baseband) would still work with a SuperSIM.

It theoretically should work if the new baseband still sees the SuperSIM as an AT&T card, as it does for the TurboSIM. Until someone tries it, there's no way of confirming.

However... what's the hurry?

With 1.1.1 you lose your ability to run 3rd party apps. The iTunes WiFi Music Store isn't worth that.

Even many legitimate AT&T subscribers are remaining with 1.0.2 because of this. Apple has effectively forked the community into two camps.

It seems like the TuboSIM works without a problem, when you downgrade to 1.0.2 and keep the 1.1.1 ...

The TurboSIM works with the 1.1.1, too ... but you can't activate the phone there yet.
But with the 1.0.2 downgrade it works!
