Yes you need a V1 sim thats active.

Mine is orange sim and has a picture of an envelope on the back with the number 10 inside.
This is that the sim can store only 10 saved SMS.
cracked it with woronscan so must be V1

Get an active sim and i will help you if you like, took me about 3 hours.

may need to contact you if i can locate a V1 sim - i'm a student , can't really
afford that turbo sim - spent most my dough on the iphone lolll
