please help me out with my problem
my friends from france gave me his iphone to use but somehow phone is disabled and it has a micro sim jack
what should i do to make it active and will it work with any sim please help me out i`m really confused,i did little bit research on this i found there`s also a mess with sim

It really depends on why it's not working. A disabled iPhone can be disabled because it is marked as lost or stolen, in which case the IMEI of the phone will also be blocked and no amount of unlocking will resolve the issue. Once a phone has been IMEI blacklisted, it can not be used again.

If it is disabled because of 10 incorrect passcode attempts, it must be booted into restore mode (hold home while booting the phone) and then restored with iTunes. This will wipe all data from the device.
