i have encountred many people who claim they have unlocked 3g iphones. one saying that he is using smartsim on his phone 100% working in Denmark and other selling already unlocked 3g iphones on ebay.. by the way the seller is a 100% feedback powerseller!! and others having these sim solutions. can anyone confirm?

I don't think the OP is trying to sell anything. He's asking for a confirm and suggestions on unlocking. Those smart a** survey type reply is getting old. You're using it at the wrong time. Its just plain annoying!!

Even this being a 3G subject, it was posted on wrong forum section.

There are threads stating SIM proxies does not work, so why questioning if SIM proxy from Manufacturer XYZ unlocks his/her phone?

Annoying are those people still insisting in such non functional SIM solutions.

No it isNt the wrong section because not all unlocked phones are unlocked by sim solutions and for that who say iphone 3g is not unlocked yet i would like to tell you that i found that a very large amount of factory unlocked phones in australia italy and belgium being sold on ebay. I already bought one on its way so all of those who volenteer to post things they dont know about i suggest you read first or try to shut up.

That post doesnt need to go to sim solution section because sims cant unlock the iphone at lEAST YET.

Its not fake...today i came accoss one of the persons in India...who is claiming that he can unlocked iphone 3G...He is charging Rs...5,500 which is close to $130 dollars...and he is claiming that the unlock would be permanent and even would lock the phone once you restore it back...The lock done would be a software unlock and every application would work...and its based in the same city...so i can visit him anytime...but im damm sure he is 100% geniune since i got his number from one of my acquitances who got his 3G unlocked from there...I even asked that i want to purchase the software but he is not willing to sell it...I just wonder how in the world he is doing that....

just the simple thing is he cant do it
its fake mabe he is doing some sim unlock
thats why try updating your phone when a new firmware comes out
and see what happens,

these sim solutions are UNSTABLE, they are not 100% out of the question. Almost every iphone 3g in thailand is unlocked via sim proxies. I'm using turbosim, and my gf is using a sim proxy herself. Its working 100%! Even EDGE!! So who are you to come and claim that its totally not working. Yes it is not working on all networks, but for the fair few, or basically all of Thailand's network is working perfectly.
