Hi everyone,

I just got my iphone 1.1.2 and i jailbreaked it etc etc .
I bought Hyper sim to unlock my phone.

Anyway it all worked after i ran Iworld just like the turtorials say.
Next morning i want to call a friend but my Iphone says 'NO SIM' ??
So i took out the my sim and put it back in and after it worked.
However 1 hour later it again said "NO SIM'

I think it has to do with the contacts for the hypersim to my Tmobile sim.
My phone does work but every now and then it says 'NO SIM'

Anybody with the same problem (and maybe a solution) i did everything following the instructions and it all worked but not for long.....i don't want to spent another 80 bugs on a bugged card

did u remove the sticky film to allow a perfect flush properly alligned card? i haven't touched my hyper card since i put it on and everythings been fine for almost a month now

This has been happening to many people, with many different kinds of hardware (and has even happened to people on AT&T). Fortunately it's only happened to me once so far, and I got it working again by putting my SIM in another phone, turning on and letting it register on the network, then putting the SIM back in my iphone again. (I use a China 3GPP *sim.)

Yeah well thanks for the response, i did remove the sticky Film etc etc.
i'm getting sick of it to because i paid 80 bugs for this 'thing' and the shop doesn't pay back money nor give me another sim(they say it's my fault, i should have let them do it.......) and they where right ...

Now i guess I'll wait until the soft unlock is there ....don't wanna spent moren money on it and i already fckd up my sim just to make it fit better in the Iphone.....

Lot of people say the cheap sims get easily damaged due to to static etc.

I dunno, there is just too many of these things that seem to have stopped working now. Either the cheap clones just dont last long (hence why they cost a few dollar to make) or they are incorrectly handling some command that the GSM operators are sending out, and this causes *SIM failure.
