Got a 1.1.2 OOB phone.

- DFU mode, downgrade to 1.1.1
- Gave an error, so fired up independence 1.3b2, repaired it.
- Jailbreaked with jailbreakme.com
- installed oktoprep
- updated to 1.1.2 again
- ran jailbreak.jar
- Inserted my SIM+Hypercard from a working 1.1.1 phone
- Installed iWorld and set it up for Costa Rica
- Voilá. It works like a charm.

About Says:

what is the bootloader for this phone, as i have tired to get hypercard working with a UK O2 phone and no joy?

where to get hypercard

thnka for the update, Did you have to do anything with the hypercard when you first got it? do you have to programme it in any way or just cut your SIM and put in to hypercard and then iphone once activated?

I have a hypercard and have activated the iphone same as you but it wont work? any ideas please.

if you know any tuts please link or any info for the hypercard.

I think the problem some people are having has to do with the seating of the sim on the hypercard. the first time I put it in, I got a no sim message so I took it out and made sure that when I looked at the whole thing from the side it looked reasonably flat. I used my fingers to squeeze it a little and then put it in again and it worked perfectly. Try a few times and I'm sure it will work!
