as I understand, using quickPWN for 2.2 means you will have the new 2.2 baseband, and your sim-maskers WILL FAIL.

pwnagetool does allow 2.1 baseband to be kept, but only works for MAC.

That said, what can be done in order for 2.2 firmware to be run on Windows with 2.1 baseband? I suggested a DFU restore to custom firmware 2.2 (***Link removed by mod***) on Windows, but was told to

The custom firmware isn't signed by apple and wouldn't install on the phone

The pwange will remove the check for firmware to be checked."


How have WINDOWS users updated to 2.2 custom??
