Help needed with StealthSIM & Greek SIM
Hello,
I have a 1.1.2 OTB iPhone and a Stealthsim, I have followed all of your guide's steps but can't get it to work. Specifically, I can make calls from my Greek SIM, I can send sms, all other functions are working properly (you tube, mail, etc.) but I can't receive calls or sms. When someone sends me an sms, I get a number "1" in the sms icon (Home menu), but when I try to open the sms, it returns immediately to the home menu.
The same thing happens when I try to dial a number from the keypad, it returns to Home menu. I can only dial a contact.
Is there any way to overcome this problem?
How can I tell if the jailbreak was successful or not?
Is there anything I can do?
Please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. Merry Christmas!

You have to install iWorld from installer and choose Greece to configure it to your country and also check to see if "Show my caller id" is on or off. You can check on Settings>Phone>Show My Caller ID.
hope this helps!

This happens with all unlocking methods..
solution: Install iWorld using the installer icon
background:
The iphone uses the MCC/MNC (your network code) to identify the country your in. It uses this to then figure out how to handle phone numbers etc.
The iphone only has lists for the countries it was released in. If you're in one of those countries you won't have a problem. Eg. t-mobile in the US with a US AT&T iphone.
For other countries you need to add an entry to handle that mcc/mnc. iWorld does this for you.
Dont worry its not obtrucive and doesnt affect things like your baseband. Think of it like an addition to the jailbreak process, as its just added couple of text lines in a file in the OS.
