Hi.
Some quick questions:
- What users are using an AT&T (US) iPhone with the Gevey in the UK?
- Which carrier are you using?
- What is the best value for each of the carriers (Vodafone, O2, Orange, T-Mobile)?
Bonus question: any French/Paris users with the same info?
Thanks!

Hey Jonny
I got an i-smartphone (no cut) piggy back sim yesterday. Had immense problems trying to fit it into the iPhone. I eventually managed to get it to fit after cutting it slightly. Initially I could not get a signal (No Sim or No Service) but I kept on toggling various settings such as Airplane Mode/3G/Data etc and eventually I got a very strong signal. After a while I also got 3G and testing data capabilities worked very well. I could also make outgoing calls and send SMS messages. However I could not receive incoming calls and neither incoming SMS messages. Frequently I would get No service and then I'd have to toggle once again to get anywhere. Eventually I gave up.
My o2 simplicity SIM arrives today so I'll give that a go. If I'm happy with it we can come to an arrangement over the Gevey card.
It's a pity i-smartphone didn't work very well....!

Was wondering if you would be willing to sell the sim to me? Could pay via paypal etc if you like. Would be good to get a Gevey which I know has been working with a T-Mob UK sim already.
Thanks, Jon
P.s - I also have one of those o2 iphone pay as you go sims with the free 3g. Bought it off ebay a couple of days ago but have not used it as am going to try the Gevey first. Could exchange also if you wish. Jon
Also, did you have to change any settings on the iPhone before you used the Gevey? The one I will be using has been used for about 20mins by my father who doesnt have a clue how to use it! It therefore has o2 settings currently. Matter of resetting? Thanks again!

Hey again Nobby,
Ye it seems the gevey is by far the most stable out there at the momemnt. I am hearing good things about a new sim called mrunlock - however it is relatively new and cannot find anywhere to get hold of one.
Hope the simplicity works well for you - like I say you are more than welcome to have this iPhone pay as you go sim off me in exchange aswell as a fee
