    Default Gevey drains battery quicker?

Ive read that *sim GEVEy is draining the batteries quicker, is that true?
Because if thats is true Id rather stick to my China3GPP, even if it sometimes has problems with the sms.

Don't belive all those stupid statements you read from peoples that envey other that use their phones with *sim solutions. The don't have money for an icecream but are professionals in electronics

All *sim solutions are based on a simple PIC that does not drain batteries. You can consider neglijable.

Dude: I'm using a gevey card. Not a single problem up to now. I have no reference to another *Sim solution but I think batterielife is normal. ~2 or 3 days with my personal average use. No difference to my Nokia 6300 I used before. I'm happy with it.

i iave same problem, I think I got a US version from ebay instead of a UK one, already in dispute with seller.

I have a 1.1.2 uk otb and gevey card.

any way I can get it to work? I just get incorrect sim etc as above posting.

tried all combination of things, and various sticky tape to no avail.

    cheers
