Hi Guys,

It's a little hard finding info for my situation because I think I'm one of the last ppl on 1.02 still. I'd like to use this new Zip upgrade to be turbo-sim free if possible and get the latest FW of course.

I've since reformatted my pc about 3 times since I've had my phone, so I've long lost my original backup via Itunes. Is the best course of action here to simply to do the backup my music/contacts, then use Itunes update to newest fw, and attempt the zip method from there? Or will the new FW brick my phone cause it's currently turbo-sim'd?
