Default Firm answer for *SIM and 1.1.2

Please load http://dl.free.fr/jPbuKsZ4L/applesaft-test-c2.zip on your TurboSIM

    Check the new menu "Exploitable"

    And report what's displayed

important note for everybody and especially french forum users who seem to have problems reading posts following the first one - you DO NOT need to update your Turbo SIM to this version to have it work on 1.1.2. This version is mostly a test to check if the Turbo SIM bug has been fixed in the baseband firmware itself. If, one day, after a firmware update, you flash back to 1.0.2 and see "Game Over", then it's really Game Over - just enjoy your Turbo until that day

I can upload it on 1.1.1, but be more specific. I won't brick it.

Without this patch on the TSIM, what I can say :

Iphone 1.0.2 upgraded to 1.1.2 and downgraded again to 1.0.2.
The baseband is new and the TSIM with the original applesaft program still works

The new baseband don't block the TSIM.
If there is a lock somewhere, it's into the software

Is this a patch that will fix the problem or give out a log so that we can see what is going on?

It's just an additional check that'll tell you if the bug exploited by the SIM methods was patched in the baseband thus making them useless.

But as Jean-Seb said, it seems to be still working, which means the Euro dudes with the new evil baseband bootloader can still unlock with a SIM method.

Anyway this software can still be useful for the next firmware versions

Skinny07 is testing the stuff on IRC and will report

Initial report from Skinny07 isn't positive indeed

Waiting for a confirmation from Jean Seb (could be mistaken, or different baseband versions, or a bug in my test but I doubt it )
