turbosim seems to work with 1.02. Have you tried that?
It's just a pity that 1.1.2 OTB users aren't having the same ease of use, I hope that going back to 1.0.2 can help you guys out. There aren't really any "must have killer features" in 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 above 1.0.2 anyway, just little fixes here and there.

I wanted to let everyone know that I recently purchased a new iphone with pre-installed 1.1.2 and new bootloader. I unlocked it with my Turbo Sim. Here's what I did....
1.) Downgrade back to version 1.0.2
2.) Jailbreak the phone with Windows GUI Installer
3.) Once the phone is jailbroken, install App Tapp
4.) Once App Tap finishes installing. open the installer and update to the recent version.
5.) Install community Sources
6.)Reboot, go back and reopen installer. You will see Oktoprep. Install Oktoprep. Even though it says its for version 1.1.1, it still works on version 1.0.2
7.)After installation, put TSIm and a valid ATT card into the phone and update to 1.1.2
8.) with the valid ATT sim and TSim in place, this should automatically jailbreak the phone, if not, try to activate by clicking on the activate button on the Windows GUI Installer.
9.) The carrier should say "ATT." Press settings, go to phone, and there should be something that says SIM Applications. Go into that and there should be an application that says AppleSaft (only if you programmed your Turbo Sim). Once in AppleSaft and with the TSim and ATT inside working, press Set.
10.) Turn off the phone, replace ATT sim with you carrier Sim and Tsim and insert into the phone. Turn the phone back on and that and wait a moment. Your carrier should be on and your iphone should be unlocked...
This process worked for me, but like everything else...what works for one doesn't work for all...Good luck.
