The thing wth the Turbo SIM method is that it will work everywhere, with any v1,2 or 3 SIM.

What the Turbo SIM does when its running the appelsaft software and configured with an AT&T IMSI (put in non-tech terms) is intercept the initial requests from the iPhone:

iPhone: "Hello mr SIM, where are you from?"

TurboSIM: "*cough* I'm from AT&T, honest."

    iPhone: "Are you really??"

    TurboSIM: "Erm, yes. Promise."

iPhone: "Righto, in which case I will switch on my radio and start talking to the network.. Can I have your details?"

TurboSIM: <grins and passes the request to the T-Mobile/O2/Whatever SIM>

So all it is doing is tricking the iPhone into believing it is AT&T at startup, it then just passes through all subsequent requests to the Piggyback SIM. Foolproof, and there is very little that Apple or AT&T can do to stop it working in practical terms.

Ozbimmer had some trouble to put the AT&T SIM card and TSIM together ...
If I remember well he had to write AT&T IMSI, ICCID to a Silvercard and then put the silvercard together with TSIM to make Applesaft work.

    @MetalRAt
I have a naive question: if you clone (duplicate) your existing sim card (any carrier) is than possible change in the cloned sim the IMEI number with the ATT one?
If yes, would that possibly work with the iphone?
    Thanks

    Hi folks,

I think you're on the wrong way ...

You DON'T need a silvercard for TurboSIM method ...
You DON'T clone any card ...

Im not saying that you NEED a silvercard for turbosim method.
The problem ozbimmer reported here is that AT&T sim card appears to have a bad contact with the turbosim.

Is there any way to write AT&T IMSI and ICCID to TurboSIM without the need to put the AT&T SIM card with TSIM?
