Concerned about Hyper-Card

Some might know me as geeb from #iphone.

Looking at the hyper-card website I see a magicsim-style dual sim adapter with no instructions about how it works.

How does this spoof the IMSI etc? How does it pass across the authentication at the correct time?

There is nothing on the site that suggests it unlocks the iphone. Just enables it to use 2 sims.

Anyone have any proof?

I don't feel like trying to prove it, but for the OOB 1.1.2 week 48 iphone I got the other day, it worked perfectly and there are others with similar experience here.

I notice this is your first post. I hope you're not the competition....

thats exactly what i was wondering myself. plus, i don't want to cut up my card that badly, and have no use for 2 sims. Some have started a thread confirming it works, but even though it works, I'd rather get one of these:

A lot of people seem to have problems with the iphonesimfreer-card, so I personally wouldnt risk bying it, but stay with sth. more stable

thanks 4 the advice. and are they ppl in the USA or germany? i believe the cards are different per country. i wish stealthsim was as cheap though.

I just read about a few swedish guys using US iPhones who couldn't get their sims working.

If you dont mind cutting your sims, then I would really recommend the HyperCard. I ordered one, it will arrive tomorrow. The company selling them is great to deal with. 85$ (thats shipping included). Works only on us iphones though.
