Anybody try this yet? It's from Brando. Thinking about using it on OOB 1.1.2 or upgraded 1.1.3.

its a turbo sim clone. chinese version. correction, its not called 877.
I use it. only works with OTB 1.1.1 and OTB 1.1.2
Once you go 1.1.3, you are screwed.
No unlock needed.

saw it on gizmodo, has anyone tried it yet?
1.1.2 OTB soft unlock GeoHot method
Hey, I already have that card. The one pictured on the Brando site is exactly the one I received last Thursday after buying it on eBay.
(I had previously described it here: http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=25318 )
My experience with it so far is that it isn't worth a shit. I constantly have to reboot the phone due to "No SIM" errors. When it does work, it constantly drops the signal for a few seconds at a time on an average of every few minutes. Which means it drops the call or won't send an sms. I tried it on 1.1.2 (mine is 1.1.2 otb) for a couple of days, then I tried doing the soft update to 1.1.3, and while it does work on 1.1.3, it's exactly as patchy as it was; no better or worse. Then, I went to T-Mobile and got a new SIM, and once again, no difference. I've popped it out and tried to re-seat it probably a hundred times. Nothing helps.
Maybe, it's not the card, maybe it's my phone, but I think I've pretty much exhausted the possibilities.
Just a heads up for everyone.
Anyone else with a similar experience? Too bad it seemed like it was a good, cheap way

The eBay seller has been really cool about it, he's sending me a new one, which I should be getting on Friday. I'll report back on it. Maybe I just got a bad one.
