please i've been browsing for this issue for a long time without a final answer..
My phone came from Canada under an AT&T contract..but i no more use this sim and i'm using a sim adapter to make it work under my carrier in Egypt..
I was a bit confused about the pwning and activation issues..to cut this off:
-do i need to activate the phone ?(assuming that i'm not an official carrier)
-does Quickpwn activate the phone or i should be using the Pwnage tool for an activation option ??

please put in mind that i no longer have the AT&T sim and i'm using the sim adapter and when connecting the iphone to itunes an error of (sim card not supported) shows off.
