3uk not Roaming
I know theres one or two people on here that use the 3 network in the UK.
When when a 3 signal cannot be recieved, the 3 network roams on to the orange network. This frequently happened for me whilst at home when I was using my old phone (the lg viewty).
However I'm now using my 3 sim in a 3g iPhone with a gold i-smartphone turbo sim and my when I'm at home I'm just getting no signal as a 3 signal cannot be found instead of the network roaming to orange.
I have 3g and roaming turned on. My APN settings are "three.co.uk".
Has anyone else had this problem? I'm getting messages hours late, but I only manage to get a 3 signal every so often.

Get a EASYiSIM for your iphone 3G, it surely can use without any problem, you can walk in to the shop located at London, Manchester, Birmingham an at time and try before buy, and this sim you dont need to cut your 3 SIM card at all, just plug and play.
PM me if you want the contact detail

Yeh - it just plain doesn't work.
I either have 3 signal or nothing.
Think about it, the adapter is replaying something to do with the three network to allow it to join it, based on working in another phone. So, first off this same 'code' isn't going to work with orange (or o2) depending on how long you have had your contract.
Also, may also be some other issues with reading the list or roaming partners from the SIM anyway with the unlock 'proxy' SIM in the way.
.... Lets hope there is a full software unlock soon, guess its the only way to get this functionality back.

Rachel the gold one is WAY out of date... I didn't even know it could support 3G like the new ones?
